The M86 Security Web Filtering and reporting appliance that we use has a database of thousands of sites objectionable web sites that it filters. This database is refreshed each night to make sure that the most current information is available for filtering. It is not practical to list all of the web sites that it blocks in a web page because the list is too large to display with a browser. Here is a list of the categories that we currently block:

  • Malicious Code/Virus

  • Spyware
  • Web-based Proxies/Anonymizers

Illegal/Questionable

  • Criminal Skills
  • Dubious/Unsavory

  • Terrorist/Militant/Extremist

  • Child Pornography
  • Explicit Art
  • Obscene/Tasteless
  • Pornography/Adult Content
